Idaho AG has taken over the investigation into Tammy Daybell's death, signaling more bad news for Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell
The news from the Office of the Attorney General in Idaho that they are taking over the investigation into Tammy Daybell’s death is a sign that things are going to get worse and never better for Lori Vallow and her husband of five months, Chad Daybell.
Back on the seventh of this month, Freemont County Prosecuting Attorney Marcia Murdoch asked the state’s deputy attorney general, Colleen Zahn, if the state would help out with the investigation into Tammy Daybell’s death which occurred on October 19, 2019.
Zahn received Murdoch letter and was like, “Hmm, this is associated with the case involving the disappearance of those two kids, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow, who went missing late last year. And JJ’s dad, Charles Vallow, was killed by Lori Vallow’s brother, Alex Cox, who is now dead. We better check this out.”

After reading the letter, Zahn sat down at her desk and wrote a letter of her own: “The AG will assume full responsibility and authority for the case. All decisions regarding the case shall be the responsibility of the AG.”
Zahn printed the letter off, placed it in an already backed envelope, and then mailed it to Murdoch. Two days later, Murdoch received the letter.
“The AG will assume full responsibility and authority, ‘yeah, blah
blah blah,’” is what Murdoch more than likely said as she read the
letter. “In all cases the county will pay the out of pocket
expenses incurred by the AG’s office, ‘I knew it! Oh, there’s more,’
The AG will pay the salaries of all AG personnel involved in
providing the assistance. All payments made to the AG’s office
shall go through… ‘Re-nee Ash-ton, Business Manager, who should
be calling me right a-bout, now. Oh, hi Renee, how are you
doing’”
The two people who won’t be “doing” anytime soon are Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell. Lori Vallow is currently keeping a bed warm in a jail cell, while Chad Daybell is enjoying the little time he has left to be wild and free.
